Chilean Magallanes and Antarctic Region: the best holidays I've had
To this point in my life, I haven't been to that many holidays, or at least not to really interesting places other than my grandparents house in the countryside. But in February of this year (2022 to those reading in the future) I had the opportunity to go to the very south of Chile for the first time.

My girlfriend’s family had been preparing for this holiday for a long time, and they invited me to go with them. My mother in law was planning everything along with a friend of hers, so we were ten people in total traveling together. The first stop of this one week trip was Puerto Natales. The airplane travel was horribly uncomfortable, but once we saw the landscape, we forgot everything bad that happened in the plane. It was very cold and super windy. We used the rest of the day to set up the cabin where we were going to stay (a very beautiful cabin by the way). The following days we went to La Cueva del Milodón and Torres del Paine. The scenery was breathtaking. Then, we traveled by car to Punta Arenas, where we went to El Fuerte Bulnes, La Zona Franca, and even to President Boric’s tree! We were always very cold, but everything was so beautiful and we had so much fun that it didn’t matter.
This has been the most recent big holiday I've had. Traveling to places me being old enough to enjoy them really makes the difference, and also, being with my girlfriend makes them extra fun!
