My favourite cartoon: SpongeBob SquarePants!

Who lives in a pineapple under the sea? SpongeBob SquarePants!

I think you probably remember the intro of this cartoon in Spanish, but when you see the main character's face, I bet you can recognise him. As you can read, my favourite cartoon when I was a child, and probably at the moment to be honest, it's SpongeBob SquarePants! This Nickelodeon cartoon show made me laugh so many times, especially in the afternoons when I was in elementary school. I remember that I came back home from school and I immediately started to do my homework so I could finish as soon as possible and have the afternoon free to watch cartoons on the T.V.

This cartoon shows the life of SpongeBob, a fast food worker that lives in an underwater city called Bikini Bottom. He has a lot of adventures with his friends, Patrick Star and Sandy Cheeks, his pet Gary, his neighbour Squidward Tentacles, and other funny characters. I think I like the show because it has funny stories every episode and a lot of exaggerations and nonsense moments, like fire under the sea, that made me laugh a lot.

Nowadays this cartoon is still on emission, and the producers made movies from the original story, but I think I prefer the old episodes that I remember from my childhood.
